Connect Instagram
Post Reels, photos, carousels and Stories to Instagram.

You need
- An Instagram Business or Creator account
- An invite from Honkpost (for now)

Switch to a professional account
In the Instagram app: your profile → menu → Account type and tools → Switch to professional account. Business or Creator both work. Free.
Tip: No Facebook Page needed.

Accept the invite
Email us your Instagram username. When the invite lands, open Instagram on the web and accept it under Tester Invites.

Connect in Honkpost
Settings → Channels → Instagram → Connect. Sign in to Instagram and click Allow.

- It says your account can’t be connected. It’s still a personal account. Do step 1, then connect again.
- No Tester Invites tab. The invite hasn’t landed yet, or you’re in the app. It only shows on instagram.com, once an invite is waiting.
- Connected to the wrong account. Instagram signs in with whatever account is open in your browser. Log out of it on instagram.com, then connect again.
Good to know
- Up to 2,200 characters, 10 photos and 10 videos.
- Every Instagram post needs a photo or video. One video goes out as a Reel; 2 to 10 make a carousel. A Story takes one photo or video.
